The research activities of the University, as stated, are carried out in accordance with a number of regulatory legal acts. In particular, these include:
— Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2024 No. 103-VIII “On Science and Technological Policy”;
— Rules on basic and program-targeted funding of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, grant funding, commercialization of the results of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, as well as funding of organizations conducting fundamental scientific research, approved by Order of the Acting Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 6, 2023 No. 563 (hereinafter – the Funding Rules), as amended;
— Rules for the procurement of goods, works and services for the implementation of scientific research by higher and (or) postgraduate education organizations and scientific organizations, approved by Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 26, 2024 No. 538 (hereinafter – Order No. 538), as amended;
— Rules for remuneration of scientific workers, approved by Order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 25, 2024 No. 592 (hereinafter – the Remuneration Rules), as amended.
These documents form the foundation for the development of scientific research and education within the University, ensuring their compliance with current legislative requirements.
In accordance with Article 23 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Science,” the scientific activity of the University was accredited by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on September 16, 2024, as a subject of scientific and scientific-technical activity (Certificate No. MK000626).
